Thomas –Bassir Biomedical Foundation and NTA Ibadan in collaboration with SKG Pharma Limited on the scheduled Health Programme Production and Transmission.
The Thomas-Bassir Biomedical Foundation (TBBF) is a non-profit, non-governmental charity founded by Professor H. Oritsejolomi Thomas, CBE, CON, and FRCS in 1974, with the aim of advancing knowledge in human and animal health through research, for the benefit of the Nigerian people.
The Foundation started a TV Programme in the year 2021 the major reason for this Programme is to enable the Audience across Nigeria and its environs to be able to know what the Foundation is about and its purpose since its establishment in the year 1974. The TV Programme will also shed more light to other health related issues to the audience in general.
The production will involve a good quality studio recording for transmission and post-production report of each episode will be given as well, all these will be done to ensure that a proper and good TV Programme is delivered to the general public at large.
The title of the Programme is OUR HEALTH, OUR LIVES,this Programme will be held for 30minutes for each episode as well as the sponsored messages will be aired at the beginning and the end of the Programme.
However, the first quarter started in February till May 2021 for 13 weeks and ended successfully. With the successful outcome of the first quarter our sponsor SKG Pharma Ltd has also decided to sponsor the second quarter of the TV Programme. The second quarter started Transmitting on Tuesday 28th September, 2021 at 7:30pm. This will run for 13 weeks at the same time weekly on NTA Ibadan.
Different topics on health related issues will be discussed such as cancer, diabetics, rape, immunization, glaucoma, kidney disease and so on.
